myAvis  Dynamic Forms: Basic Product Information
 

Create and customize dynamic data collection forms whenever you need them, then automatically transmit the forms to your staff in the field collecting information with PDAs.


Central office staff create electronic forms or questionnaires on their PCs using our Dynamic Forms Designer. The resulting forms are transferred to mobile devices by phone line or GSM. PDA users then collect the required information and complete the forms or questionnaires. Data are uploaded to the server side application after the field research is finished, enabling central office processing of information received from a number of staff in the field.

myAvis  Mobile Sales Force: Basic Product Information

 

myAvis™ is a software application for mobile device users. Designed with sales and distribution organizations in mind, it enables effective management of business processes involving customers located in different regions.

 

Using a server side client, central office staff monitor and direct the activities of mobile teams. Field staff in turn use their PDA/Pocket PCs to receive data and instructions from headquarters, and to record data collected during customer visits. Principal areas of activity supported by myAvis™:  Stock and Goods (availability, current price…), Contacts (addresses, opening hours…), Marketing (promotional events, materials…), Field Staff Management (cost, time…).

Many other competing applications have been developed as extensions of the existing ERP, CRM or other systems so that a PDA can be used as a client for the mobile users. Their great disadvantage is that their functionality is limited only to the extend of what an original  ERP or CRM system is able to process.  In other words: a PDA extension of an ERP system enables its mobile users to work with the ERP system remotely but  if the user needs to work with some data which are not present in the ERP system (for example CRM type of data) this type of the application does not provide the support.

 

For example: If a field sales person uses a PDA extension of a central ERP system, it is easy for him/her to work with price lists, invoices orders etc.. but it is not easy to collect detailed marketing information or contact information, because the central ERP system by its nature is not designed to process such kinds of information in detail.
