The Viva Intelligence Portal™ is built on a carefully planned information architecture that is tailored to the client organization’s specific information needs. The information content is structured into specific Intelligence modules that, together with the information architecture, provide a logical and easy way to process and distribute information.

Content management features are entirely browser-based, which facilitates easy information entry by virtually anyone in the organization. Administrative features such as user/group management and updating of the information architecture are also browser-based.

In addition to being a simple system for administrators, content producers and editors to work with, the structure of the Portal also makes information retrieval for the end user extremely easy and accurate.

As no two organizations are alike, the Viva Intelligence Portal™ is always customized to meet a client’s precise needs. Basic setup typically consists of modules for handling news, market signals, company profiles, and analysis documents.

In addition to the basic components, entirely customized portal modules can be easily created and integrated according to the organization’s specific requirements. External information sources and existing internal systems can also be integrated to the Viva Intelligence Portal™. Moreover, mobile features can be added to enable information to be delivered to mobile handheld devices.

Technology base

The Viva Intelligence Portal™ is built on the Microsoft platform. The basic requirements for the server are:

- Windows 2000/2003 Server (Application Server, IIS)

- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or MS SQL Server 7 SP3 or later)

The minimum browser requirement for the Viva Intelligence Portal™ is Internet Explorer 4.0 (and later) or Netscape 4.7 (and later).
